A GPS tracking unit is a device that uses the Global Positioning System (GPS) to determine the precise location of a vehicle to which it is attached and to record the position of the vehicle at regular intervals. The recorded location data can be stored within the tracking unit, or it may be transmitted to a central location database, or internet-connected computer, using a cellular (GPRS or SMS) or satellite modem embedded in the unit. This allows the vehicles location to be displayed against a map backdrop either in real time or when analysing the track.

GPS Map Reports:
Login into your account (Username and Password provided by us after install GPS system on your vehicle. Select Reports from the available options. GPS reports on the phone:
- GPRS Enabled Handset (EDGE Preferred) OR CDMA with Net connectivity
- Should have JAVA capabilities. (Most GPRS phones has this capability)
- GPRS Enabled SIM Card
- You can login your organization ID in www.track.roadpin.in account and on dashboard page itself you can see your organization ID. This is normally your company name or registration id.
